AANM 2010 Committees and Chairs
Get involved in YOUR ASSOCIATION in 2010! AANM membership provides numerous opportunities for professional involvement through
various committees. If you would like to participate on a committee, please fill out this form and return to AANM by fax to 505.822.8557
or toll free to 866.693.4395. The 2010 AANM Committees looking for volunteers are:
Membership Council: This committee is comprised of both Primary and Associate Members. The committee’s mission is to
encourage more interaction and involvement among Members and helps develop, plan and implement Membership Mixers.
Meetings are scheduled monthly on the first Wednesday from 11 AM‐12 PM.
Committee Chair: Kelle Senyé, ARM®; Staff Liaison: Kim Araujo, NALP
Education Committee: The Education Committee determines AANM’s educational calendar programs, including topics and
speakers for the lunch meetings, educational seminars and conferences as well as coordination of national certification
programs. Meetings are quarterly (January, April, July & October) on the second Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Government & Community Affairs: This committee is responsible for reviewing and developing legislation and community
relations that affect the multi‐housing industry within the State of New Mexico and at the local level. Meetings will be monthly
on the third Tuesday of the month from 4:00 PM‐5:00 PM.

Marketing & Communications Committee: This committee designs and produces the marketing and communications program
for AANM. All meetings will be monthly on the second Wednesday from 8:45 AM‐9:45 AM.

Maintenance Mania® Committee: This committee will plan the 5th Annual Maintenance Mania® event that is scheduled on
Thursday, February 25, 2010. This event will be held at the AZ Partsmaster Warehouse. Meetings are currently being held
weekly on Wednesday’s from 8:45 AM – 9:45 AM

Golf Tournament: This committee will plan AANM’s 9th Annual Golf Tournament, scheduled on Friday, May 21, 2010. The
event will be held at the Santa Ana Golf Club Course. The committee will focus on developing and selling sponsorships and
must be willing to assist at the event. Meetings initially are held on a bi‐weekly basis then scheduled weekly as the event date
approaches, on Wednesday’s from 12:00 PM‐1:00 PM. The first meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.

Trade Show & Educational Conference: This committee will develop and implement AANM’s 27th Annual Trade Show. This
event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 29, 2010, and will be held at the Marriott Pyramid North Hotel. Members must
be willing to help at the show as well as help develop and sell sponsorship and exhibitor space. Meetings initially are held on a
bi‐weekly basis then scheduled weekly as the event date approaches. The first meeting will be set sometime in February 2010.

Holiday Banquet / Tributes Awards Committee: AANM alternates biennially a December Holiday Banquet and a Tributes
Awards. In 2010, the committee will plan for the Holiday Banquet “Can‐Can Ball 2010,” that is scheduled on Friday,
December 10, 2010, at the Marriott Pyramid North Hotel. The committee will focus on developing and selling sponsorships, as
well as assisting with obtaining raffle prizes for the event. Committee members must be willing to assist at the event. Meetings
initially are held on a bi‐weekly basis then scheduled weekly as the event date approaches. The first meeting will be set
sometime in late May 2010.

NOTE: Committing to an AANM committee can be a fun and rewarding use of your volunteer time. We count on the participation and
support of all the members who make this commitment. Please try to contact AANM if you have joined a committee and are not able to
keep this commitment and/or if you are unable to attend a meeting. Missing three (3) consecutive meetings without notification will
result in removal from the committee.
